- I had a relatively similar problem, although I never managed to
- quantify it quite to the extent you have. It worked fine in Windows
- 3.1 then died in Windows 95 after a 10 to 20 minute period, regardless
- of what I was doing: FTP, newsgroups, WWW, etc.

- I switched ISP's for a trial period and the problem disappeared. I
- then contacted my current ISP. The solution he provided, and that has
- worked fine for me since, is to connect to his pool of USR modems. My
- downloads are now blazingly fast, and I haven't had any lockups.
