  12. I had a relatively similar problem, although I never managed to
  13. quantify it quite to the extent you have. It worked fine in Windows
  14. 3.1 then died in Windows 95 after a 10 to 20 minute period, regardless
  15. of what I was doing: FTP, newsgroups, WWW, etc.

  17. I switched ISP's for a trial period and the problem disappeared. I
  18. then contacted my current ISP. The solution he provided, and that has
  19. worked fine for me since, is to connect to his pool of USR modems. My
  20. downloads are now blazingly fast, and I haven't had any lockups.
